“K” Line launches latest “Corona” coal carrier
Tokyo-based Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Ltd. today launched the 85,600-deadweight-ton coal carrier “Corona Lions” built at Oshima Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.The vessel is “K” Line’s tenth of 15 in the “Corona” series, which are designed with wide beams and shallow drafts, making them suitable to enter ports of Japan’s thermal power plants.
