The Swiss-based third-party logistics provider’s aerospace hub in Dubai Logistics City secured new contracts with Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation and Avtrade.
Kuehne + Nagel’s aerospace hub in Dubai Logistics City, situated in close proximity to the Al Maktoum International Airport, gained Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation and Avtrade as new customers Nov. 1.
A variety of aerospace services including inspection, warehousing of aircraft spare parts, tooling and inbound and outbound logistics are provided at the facility, Kuehne + Nagel said.
The third-party logistics company’s Dubai aerospace hub is part of its global aerospace network, which also includes other main hubs in Frankfurt, London, Atlanta, Sao Paulo, Singapore and Hong Kong, a Kuehne + Nagel spokesperson told American Shipper.
Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of General Dynamics, is an aircraft manufacturer based out of Savannah, Ga.
Avtrade is a global component service provider to the aviation industry based out of West Sussex, United Kingdom.
