K + N starts Milan/L.A. LCL service
Kuehne + Nagel has started a weekly less-than-containerload service from Milan, Italy, to Los Angeles.
Shipments from Italy are consolidated at K + N's Milan container freight station, which uses La Spezia as its departure port. Long Beach, Calif., is the destination port. Transit time from port to port is 25 days, the company said.
Onward distribution from Los Angeles is offered to multiple K+N container freight stations throughout the West Coast.
