K + N unveils Singapore Logistics Hub

Swiss third-party logistics provider Kuehne + Nagel officially opened its 50,000-square-meter Singapore Logistics Hub to support client needs in Southeast Asia.    Kuehne + Nagel opened its Singapore Logistics Hub to support its fast growing supply chain clientele that operate within Singapore and other Association of Southeast Asian countries, the third-party logistics provider said.
   Situated in the west of Singapore, the new facility is located near pharma hubs, healthcare hubs, major manufacturers and ports.
   A total of 46,000 square meters of the 50,000-square-meter Singapore Logistics Hub is dedicated for warehousing space.
   Over 40 percent of the hub is furnished with advanced chilled storage, redressing and postponement facilities.
   “Aside from the standard freight and warehousing service offerings, the new facility will serve as a regional center of excellence for high-tech, industrial, pharmaceutical and healthcare customers, offering supply chain optimization and value-chain transformation solutions,” Kuehne + Nagel said in a statement.
