K + N wins Henkel contract in Shanghai

K + N wins Henkel contract in Shanghai    Kuehne + Nagel has won a two-year contract from German manufacturer Henkel to run the company's warehousing operations in Shanghai for its adhesives subsidiary, Henkel Adhesive Technologies.
   Henkel recently decided to consolidate its warehousing activities in Shanghai, with Kuehne + Nagel merging various existing facilities into one shared distribution center in Shanghai's Putuo District. The new 8,000-square-meter building includes a designated area for temperature sensitive and dangerous goods and provides room for future extension.
   Kuehne + Nagel will provide receiving, quality inspection, storage, picking and packing, returns handling, shipment of full pallets, boxes and sales units, and repacking and relabeling.
   The logistics company already manages warehousing operations for Henkel in Malaysia, Canada and France.
