Kalmar ship-to-shore orders from European terminals
Rotterdam Shortsea Terminal (RST) in the Netherlands and MSC Home Terminal in Antwerp, Belgium, have each ordered two ship-to-shore cranes from Kalmar Industries. Financial details were not disclosed.
The cranes for RST will have an outreach of 37 meters while the units destined for Antwerp will reach 59 meters across, equivalent to 24 containers.
Both sets of cranes will be delivered to the European terminals in late 2008.
