Kansas City Southern names Ottensmeyer CFO

Kansas City Southern names Ottensmeyer CFO    Kansas City Southern, parent company of Kansas City Southern Railway Co. and Kansas City Southern de Mexico, has appointed Patrick J. Ottensmeyer as executive vice president and chief financial officer, replacing Ronald G. Russ.
   Ottensmeyer was CFO at Intranasal Therapeutics Inc. He has also served as vice president finance and treasurer for BNSF Railway and senior vice president for Bank of America.
   At the same time, Julio Quintero has been named controller for KCSM. He will spend his first six months with the holding company in Kansas City to ensure standardized accounting procedures, before relocating to KCSM’s headquarters in Monterrey, Mexico.
   Quintero was controller for Mexico and Central America at Wyeth Pharmaceutical.
