Chattanooga, Tenn.-based logistics services provider Kenco has signed a contract for turnkey management of appliance group Haier America’s three hubs in Keasbey, N.J.; Savannah. Ga.; and Fontana, Calif.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
Kenco will manage and handle every aspect of these distribution centers through a single management system, networking the three sites together.
“We wanted a national 3PL to operate our three facilities and any we might need to open in the next three to five years,” Haier America’s Larry S. Monaghan said in a statement. “Our experience with Kenco has already been excellent, and their proposal proved to be the best match for our future needs as well.” – Jon Ross
