Kerry Logistics opens new office in Poland

The Hong Kong-based third-party logistics provider opened a new office in Warsaw, Poland, following recent acquisitions in Europe in recent months.

Kerry Logistics Network Ltd. has opened a new office in Warsaw, Poland, the company said Thursday.
In its efforts to expand in Europe, the new office will focus on international freight forwarding and will be headed by Diana Sokol, previously General Director Poland at C.Spaarmann Logistics, based in Warsaw.
Under her leadership, the new office will support customers in international freight forwarding in ocean, air and road freight services, as well as in customs brokerage.
In January, Kerry Logistics acquired film and media firm Multi Logistics in Germany, just weeks after the acquisition of Spanish freight forwarding company Bofill & Arnan. In addition, Kerry Logistics opened a Shared Service Center in Poznan, Poland last year to enhance cost efficiency and service competitiveness in the region.
Overall, the new Warsaw office joins Kerry Logistics’ other 700 office locations around the world that cater to multinational and international companies looking to increase their supply chain efficiency, the company said.
When unveiling its 2016 earnings last week, Kerry Logistics said expansion efforts will continue throughout 2017.
