Kewill, a provider of global trade and logistics services and a Gold-level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), announced it has achieved Oracle Validated Integration of Kewill Flagship with the Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1.
Kewill Flagship provides an enterprise parcel shipping service for Oracle’s E-Business Suite users and the validated integration allows for the system to give easier implementations, lower costs, and improved ease of use.
The validated integration of parcel will be a big help for Oracle because parcel is often a key differentiator in this space. Companies like MercuryGate that have parcel-related technology offerings often leverage it as an advantage, and now Oracle can push parcel the same way.
The Kewill Flagship platform supports high-volume shipping in both domestic and international markets, boasting broad carrier compliance. The company said it can manage thousands of shipping stations and hundreds of thousands of shipments per day on a single deployment.
Kewill and Oracle have a cooperative marketing agreement for the Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) small parcel functionality, which Kewill facilitates. Oracle developed an integration between OTM and Kewill Flagship which helped the validation. — Geoff Whiting
