KITTY HAWK RENAMES KALITTA COS.
   Kitty Hawk, the Dallas-based air freight and logistics company, has
changed the names of its recently acquired American International Airways
and American International Freight subsidiaries.
   AIA has been renamed Kitty Hawk International. American International
Freight will be called Kitty Hawk Cargo.
   Kitty Hawk recently announced that it will eliminate 1,500 jobs at AIA
and retire 23 DC-8 aircraft from the subsidiary’s fleet of 42 planes.
Raymond Lawlor has been named vice president of international sales, of
AIA. He was director of marketing at Atlas Air.
