KLM CARGO SALES RISE 17%    The freight division of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines recorded a 17 percent rise in cargo revenue to 255 million euro ($239 million) in the three months ending June 30.
   Due to improved traffic and yield results, KLM said it would not decrease winter capacity by the 5 percent previously announced, but hold capacity growth at zero in coming months.
   Cargo traffic increased 4 percent in the airline's first fiscal quarter to 1.03 billion revenue-tonne-kilometers. Capacity remained flat at 1.48 billion available-tonne-kilometers, due a capacity cutting and yield management program. That led to an improvement in load factor from 66.9 percent to 69.3 percent. Yield, measured in cents per RTK, rose 13 percent to 24.9.
   Overall net income at KLM rose 23 percent to 43 million euro on a 12.5 percent increase in revenue to 1.75 billion euro.
