KLM SIGNS DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT WITH TRANSAVIA
KLM Cargo has signed a three-year contract with Transavia Engineering & Maintenance Co. to provide international distribution of aircraft parts from Transavia’s maintenance facility at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
KLM, which will handle the contract through its Air Logistics unit, said the deal involves daily shipments of parts to airports across the world. KLM will provide inventory replenishment services as well time-critical delivery for repairs.
KLM said the Transavia contract will give a boost to the aerospace logistics division of its Air Logistics unit.
