Knatz named new executive director at Port of Los Angeles
The Port of Los Angeles has named Geraldine Knatz as its new executive director, more than a year after embattled former chief Larry Keller left the post.
Knatz, managing director of development at the neighboring Port of Long Beach, has worked at the Port of Los Angeles previously, but has spent most of her recent career in Long Beach.
She beat out two other candidates, including former director of the ports of Oakland and Baltimore, Tay Yoshitani.
