Kodak wants to use foreign materials in Oklahoma

Notification of proposed production activity submitted to Foreign-Trade Zones Board.

Eastman Kodak Co. has submitted a notification of proposed production activity to the Foreign-Trade Zones Board for its facility in Weatherford, Okla.
Eastman Kodak already has authority to produce flexographic finished plates, aluminum finished printing plates, thermo imaging layer, direct imaging recording film sheets and direct imaging record film rolls within Subzone 106F. The request would add foreign status materials/components to the scope of authority.
The materials/components sourced from abroad include non-aromatic esters of amino acids, propylene oxide-modified trimethylol propane triacrylate and foamed polyethylene resin sheet.
Public comment will be accepted until Aug. 6 at the Office of the Executive Secretary, Foreign-Trade Zones Board, Room 21013, U.S. Department of Commerce, 1401 Constitution Av., NW, Washington, DC 20230-0002.
A copy of the notification is available for public inspection on the board’s website.
