KOREAN AIR LEASES ANOTHER ATLAS B747-400
Korean Air Lines has signed a wet-lease agreement with Atlas Air for another B747-400 freighter.
KAL signed its first wet-lease contract — covering aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance — with Atlas last year for a B747-400.
KAL, which has embarked on a major fleet expansion, faces sanctions from the Korean government on international route rights. The airline had two fatal crashes involving freighters last year.
