Kuehne + Nagel opens site at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam
Kuehne + Nagel Thursday opened a new air freight facility at Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport that will focus on perishable logistics and niche industries such as ship spares, aviation, and oil and energy.
The new building features 3,500 square meters of logistics space and 800 square meters of office space. Activities provided include cross-docking, pick-and-pack, quality checking and inventory management services.
The Swiss company's existing Dutch air freight operations are located in Nieuw Vennep, not far from Schiphol, as well as Aalsmeer, which focuses on the global transportation of flowers and bulbs.
