Kuehne + Nagel signs contract with Black & Decker in Thailand
Kuehne + Nagel in Thailand has been awarded a three-year contract by tool manufacturer Black & Decker (Thailand) Ltd.
In the scope of the agreement, Kuehne + Nagel is responsible for the receipt of inbound shipments, warehousing and national distribution. In addition, a range of value-added services, including spares part management, are provided.
To help facilitate this contract, Kuehne + Nagel has taken space in a new 4,200-square-meter shared warehousing facility in Bangkok.
'The new site marks a further step in the expansion of our logistics network in Thailand, enhancing our ability to provide efficient logistics services from a single source,' said Jens Drewes, Kuehne + Nagel's managing director.
