Kurt Salmon sells software unit to Knighted

Kurt Salmon, a global management consulting firm, has sold its GoalPost software business unit to Knighted, a New York-based developer of supply chain software.
GoalPost is designed to support distribution center, call center, and retail store labor management programs.
Jack Horst, partner at Kurt Salmon, said GoalPost will help Knighted with overall management of supply chain costs, services, and productivity.
Craig Wilensky, Knighted’s executive vice president and partner, said managing labor costs is the best way for the company to increase its stake in the worldwide supply chain software market, which is expected to exceed $8 billion annually in 2012.
