Labor mediator calls for pause in UPS talks with pilots    The National Mediation Board has ordered a recess in labor negotiations between UPS and its pilot’s union. Under federal law, workers cannot strike or conduct a work stoppage during the recess period.
   UPS said it remains committed to negotiations with the Independent Pilots Association.
