LINDHOLM NAMED COO OF DANZAS AEI INTERCONTENTINAL IN NORTH AMERICA
Brian E. Lindholm has been appointed to executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Danzas AEI Intercontinental’s North American region.
The 20-year logistics industry veteran will oversee the company’s operations in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Lindholm will be based in Darien, Conn., and report to Hans Toggweiler, president and chief executive officer of the company for North America.
Lindholm started his career in the industry at former Pandair Freight in 1981. After Air Express International (AEI) bought Pandair in 1987, he became district manager for AEI in Chicago. In 1994, Lindholm became AEI regional manager for the Midwest region and was promoted to vice president of AEI’s western division in 1998. After the acquisition of AEI by Duetsche Post AG and merged it with Danzas Intercontinental in 1999, he was named vice president of the central division of Danzas AEI Intercontinental in North America.
