Linsin joins Blank Rome

Linsin joins Blank Rome Gregory F. Linsin has joined the law firm of Blank Rome as a partner in its white collar, internal and government investigations practice group.
   Linsin brings more than 25 years of experience as a federal prosecutor and has an extensive background in the supervision and prosecution of complex maritime and environmental criminal cases with the environmental crimes section of the U.S. Justice Department. He will be based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.
   As special litigation counsel for the environmental crimes section, Linsin organized and led the national vessel pollution initiative, which resulted in precedent-setting criminal prosecutions of commercial shipowners and operators for violations of international and domestic pollution requirements. He has also handled and supervised attorneys in hundreds of investigations and prosecutions under the Clean Water Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, Clean Air Act, and the Act to Prevent Pollution from Ships.
   He served as a member of the U.S. delegation to the Legal Committee and Marine Environmental Protection Committee of International Maritime Organization.
