LLOYD TRIESTINO STOPS MED/SOUTH AFRICA SERVICE
Lloyd Triestino, the Italian shipping line owned by the Evergreen group, has stopped its Mediterranean/South Africa direct service.
“With immediate effect, Mediterranean/South Africa direct service has been canceled and only northwest (European) Continent/South Africa direct service will continue,” the carrier said.
Lloyd Triestino had space on the Mediterranean/South Africa service operated by Mediterranean Shipping Co. In 2001, Lloyd Triestino stopped serving the Mediterranean/West Africa trade.
