Load Delivered opens L.A. office

   The third party logistics provider Load Delivered Logistics has opened a Los Angeles-based office to tap into growing demand from West Coast shippers like customers Mary Ann’s Baking Co. and popchips.
   Load Delivered said over the past year it has experienced a 28 percent increase in its western U.S. business.
   “Part of our core philosophy is to always do what is best for our customers, and this office is a reflection of their needs,” Load Delivered’s chief executive officer, Robert Nathan, said in a statement. “The busy West Coast ports and fast-growing e-commerce businesses make southern California a key location for Load Delivered. It is an important distribution point to our customers and positions us to strategically scale in high-growth markets.”
   Michael Cherney, a company veteran, will oversee the new location as the director of West Coast operations.
