LOG-NET release focused on ‘predictive execution’

Supply chain software and services provider released version 7.5, aimed at allowing shippers to perform analytics on data feeds from partners and suppliers.    The software-as-service supply chain and logistics solutions provider LOG-NET released a new version of its flagship platform aimed at improving the “predictive execution” of its users.
   “With predictive execution, advanced statistical analysis is performed on real time data feeds from thousands of suppliers and logistics partners,” LOG-NET said in a statement. “This analysis constantly evaluates the end-to-end state of global supply chains, alerting and modifying execution plans and actions for optimal results.”
   LOG-NET version 7.5 platform is also designed to give users new ways to mine and view large data sets in real time, the company said.
   “The demand for real time predictive execution is extremely high with our customers,” said John Motley, chief executive officer and founder of LOG-NET. “They need as much certainty and visibility as possible due to high velocity multi-channel distribution moving globally through labor, civil and natural disruptions around the world.”
   LOG-NET provides solutions and services shippers and LSP transortation and trade compliance functions.
