LogFire integrates WMS into Oracle OTM

Cloud-based warehouse management systems provider’s tool will be combined with OTM to create cloud-based supply chain execution system.    The cloud-based warehouse management systems provider LogFire said Monday it has integrated its flagship WMS with Oracle Transportation Management.
   The result, LogFire said, is a 100 percent cloud-based supply chain execution convergence solution that allows users to manage and track inventory across fulfillment centers, 3PLs and store shelves.
   The integrated solution is designed to free companies from managing multiple applications to focus on sales growth and margin improvement.
   “The combined Oracle Transportation Management Cloud and LogFire solution will give our customers a competitive advantage through integrated and optimized fulfillment and distribution operations,” said Diego Pantoja-Navajas, founder and CEO of LogFire. “The ability to implement and scale quickly through cloud solutions helps them better compete in a marketplace that changes daily.”
   A number of providers, including JDA Software, Manhattan Associates, SAP, HighJump Software and Oracle itself, offer both WMS and transportation management systems.
   The integration was handled by the global consulting firm Inspirage, which helps link OTM to other solutions.
