LOGISTICS.COM PARTNERS WITH J.D. EDWARDS
Logistics.com, based in Burlington, Mass., a provider of online transportation solutions, has announced a strategic alliance with J.D. Edwards & Co., based in Denver, a provider of collaborative Internet solutions.
The partners will develop standardized interfaces between Logistics.com’s OptiManage management solution and J.D. Edwards’ OneWorld enterprise solution.
The latter provides “a software backbone allowing shippers to collaborate with all supply chain trading partners and service providers,” according to Tim Tisdale, vice president of development, supply chain execution, for J.D. Edwards.
