Logistics software provider integrates with INTTRA

The European software company NaviTrans, which provides systems to forwarders, will enable access to INTTRA’s booking, shipping instructions and tracking solutions.    NaviTrans, a provider of software to freight forwarders, has integrated key components of the ocean freight technology provider INTTRA’s platform, the companies said Thursday.
   Belgium-based NaviTrans’ customers will have access to INTTRA’s ocean freight booking, shipping instructions submission, and shipment tracking solutions.
   INTTRA processes around a quarter of all containers globally across its platform.
   “For the forwarding companies among our logistics customers, offering shipment management services is indeed a crucial part of their business,” said Stefan Dedrie, managing partner at NaviTrans and vice president of international business development. “Our alliance with INTTRA however is more than just a next logical step. It also emphasizes our continued commitment to the forwarding industry as one of the major logistic branches we focus on.”
   NaviTrans is based around Microsoft Dynamics NAV, an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system that structures financial and operational business processes.
