LoJack parent ties up cargo security/tracking alliances

LoJack subsidiary SC-Integrity to partner with Contguard to enable 24-hour tracking.    SC-integrity, Inc., (LoJack SCI) and Contguard this week cemented a strategic alliance designed to provide their customers security and real-time visibility of supply chain assets and cargo on a global basis.
   LoJack SCI will exclusively offer the Contguard Cargo Monitoring Unit service for the North American market. LoJack SCI will use its web-based user portal command center and 24/7 monitoring-center specialists to augment Contguard’s container tracking solution.
   “LoJack SCI has taken a stance to lead the industry with offering simple-to-implement protection and visibility to meet best security practices,” said Ted Wlazlowski, chief executive officer and president of SC-integrity. “With the Contguard alliance, we have taken the next logical step in extending per-trip service on a global basis. Our integrated service will meet Tier 3 (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) requirements, enabling our clients to be eligible for FAST lanes ,where available; reduced risk scores; and fewer security examinations.”
   The companies said they plan to take advantage of their respective geographic strengths in the Americas, Europe and the Middle East, while enhancing their alliance with future market and solution programs.
