Los Alamitos logistics firmÆs name change reflects service evolution Dedola International Inc. said this week that the company name has been changed to Dedola Global Logistics, effective June 1.
   The supply chain services provider said in a release that the change was a 'modern evolution' for the 31-year-old company, and the new name was decided upon to more accurately define the company's core function.
   'When I first joined Dedola 25 years ago, the word logistics was seldom used related to the movement of cargo,' explained Marc Dedola, president of Dedola Global Logistics. 'We believe it is critical for us to provide a clear representation of who we are and what we do. The name change better reflects our progression over the past three decades.'
   With headquarters in Orange County's Los Alamitos and offices in San Francisco, Seattle, Greensboro and Shanghai, the company has seen a nearly 14 percent average annual revenue compounded growth rate for the last 10 years.
