Lufthansa Cargo appoints Pluemacher as Jettainer managing director

Lufthansa Cargo appoints Pluemacher as Jettainer managing director Lufthansa Cargo's executive board has appointed Alexander Pluemacher as managing director of Jettainer GmbH, a Raunheim, Germany-based company that manages a fleet of 65,000 containers and pallets for a number of airlines worldwide.
   Lufthansa Cargo holds 67 percent of Jettainer’s shares with the remaining 33 percent held by TrenStar Inc.
   Pluemacher was a private equity manager at Arques Industries. He started at Jettainer on April 7 and replaces Mohammed Seiraffi, who will take up the newly created function of manager handling Germany for Lufthansa Cargo with responsibility for freight handling at all German stations with the exception of Frankfurt.
