Lufthansa Cargo, DHL to create air cargo joint venture
Lufthansa Cargo and DHL, part of Deutsche Post World Net, last week filed a request with Germany’s Federal Cartel Office to establish a joint cargo airline.
Lufthansa Cargo would only say that further details of the plan would be distributed by the end of the month.
Meanwhile, the Frankfurt-based airline on Friday reappointed Andreas Otto to the executive board in charge of product and sales for a further five-year term.
