The German group’s earnings before profit and taxes (EBIT) climbed 39.1 percent to 1.81 billion euros ($2.7 billion) with revenue up 13 percent to 22.4 billion euros ($33 billion). Lufthansa’s revenue from logistics slipped 3.8 percent to 2.74 billion euros ($2.4 billion).
Lufthansa Cargo flew 1.8 million tons of freight and mail last year, up 2.6 percent, while its load factor went up by 1.1 points to 73.2 percent.
