Lynden International expands Hawaii service
Lynden International said it is expanding its ocean freight capabilities in the Hawaiian market.
Lynden has been serving the Hawaiian Islands for 25 years with offices in Honolulu and Maui. It said it is adding features to its ocean freight service to Hawaii including warehousing, distribution, consolidations, multiple pickup and delivery options plus full containerload and less-than-containerload options for customers.
The company said it has named Patrick Omura as business development manager. Based in Honolulu, Omura will work closely with the company’s gateway operation in Los Angeles to develop and support traffic between Lynden’s offshore partners and U.S. offices.
Omura has more than 21 years of industry experience, most recently in sales management for YRC Worldwide in Hawaii and Servco Pacific Office Products.
