Lynden, Kerry form joint venture

Lynden, Kerry form joint venture Lynden Air Freight and Kerry Logistics have formed a joint venture agreement to provide logistics and forwarding services.
   The new company will be based in Seattle and will market the joint venture worldwide under the name Kerry-Lynden, The new service network, which includes Europe and India, quadruples the number of Lynden-Kerry offices and offers customers global coverage.
   The two companies said they have expanded their Asia and North American sales and operations network by adding more than 30 new locations at the beginning of 2007.
   'This expansion is part of our ongoing strategy to respond to customers needs,' said Dennis Patrick, Lynden International's president. 'By providing service in more locations worldwide, our customers can also expand their own operations and services with the assurance that we offer the same high-quality support in new geographic areas.'
