Madrigal Pacific Carriers, the Filipino transpacific carrier previously
known as Madrigal-Wan Hai, said that it may merge with Trans-Pacific Lines.
Trans-Pacific Lines is the new transpacific shipping line based in
Taiwan and affiliated with the Taiwanese intra-Asia carrier Wan Hai.
Madrigal and Trans-Pacific Lines already operate a joint fortnightly
liner service in the Pacific trade.
