MAERSK ADD EUROPE/CANADA FUEL SURCHARGE
Maersk Line will introduce a fuel surcharge on its
northern Europe/Canada non-conference service on Sept. 13.
The surcharge will be $26 (U.S.) per 20-foot container and $52 per 40-footer.
The announcement by Maersk follows the recent decision by the Canadian
Atlantic Westbound and Eastbound Freight Conferences to implement an identical interim
fuel participation surcharge, effective Sept. 1.
