Maersk changes Lacas service
Maersk Line will make some changes to its weekly Asia/Mexico/West Coast South America Lacas service by dropping westbound calls from Lazaro Cardenas in Mexico and adding a westbound call at Balboa in Panama.
The vessel 'Nedlloyd Marita' will make the last call at Lazaro Cardenas on Friday. The first call at Balboa will be made by the vessel 'Maersk Nottingham' this Saturday. At the same time, calls at Iquique in Chile are being dropped.
The Lacas service uses nine ships averaging 3,039 TEUs and has a revised port rotation of Hong Kong; Shekou; Ningbo; Shanghai; Kwangyang; Ensenada, Mexico; Buenaventura; Callao; San Antonio; Lirquen; Balboa; Yokohama and back to Hong Kong.
