Maersk Contractors sells three drilling rigs
Maersk Contractors, part of Denmark’s A.P. Moller-Maersk Group and a supplier of drilling rigs and floating production units, has sold three jack-up drilling rigs to Bermuda-based Northern Offshore Ltd. No financial details were disclosed.
The rigs, Maersk Exerter, Maersk Enhancer and Maersk Endeavour, were all built in 1982. Maersk Contractors will continue to operate the rigs on behalf of the new owners until the existing contracts with Maersk Olie og Gas expire in 2008 and 2009, respectively.
