Maersk drops Salalah on Africa-Mideast-India loop

A Maersk Line service connecting South Africa with the Middle East and India has omitted a call at Salalah, the carrier said this week.
The line’s standalone Mesa service now has a revised rotation of Durban, Port Elizabeth, Jebel Ali, Port Qasim, Nhava Sheva, and Durban. The service is operated with six vessels with an average capacity of 2,235 TEUs, noted American Shipper affiliate ComPair Data.
