Direct ChassisLink will offer chassis for lease in Houston, New Orleans and Mobile, Ala., as well as Portland, Ore., and Seattle, Wash., to drayage companies at marine terminals, container yards and railroads. The company already leases chassis in the Northeast, Ohio Valley, Chicago and other Midwest areas.
The company said it has 1,000 truckers as customers and after June 1 will have 20,000 chassis available for rent.
