The Adriatic Levant Express will use two vessels to “offer an innovative solution to the East Mediterranean reefer market with departures from Alexandria, Egypt, and Ashdod, Israel, to Central Europe,” Maersk said.
The ALEX service will offer its first sailing from Ashdod on Nov. 18. Rotation will be Alexandria, Ashdod, Koper in Slovenia, Ravenna in Italy, Piraeus in Greece, Limassol in Cyprus, and Alexandria.
