ôMaersk Kwangyangö delivered
A.P. Moller Singapore last week received the second in a series of 6,500-TEU 'K-Type' vessels built by Korean shipyard Hanjin Heavy Industries.
The 'Maersk Kwangyang' is about 300 meters long (984 feet) with a beam of 40 meters (131 feet) and a full draft of 14.5 meters (48 feet). The vessel is powered by a W'rtsil' 10RT-flex engine that can take it to speeds of up to 25 knots.
