MAERSK LINE ADDS U.S.-FLAG TANKER
Maersk Line Ltd. has expanded its U.S.-flag fleet by acquiring the 'Maersk Rhode Island' from Maersk U.K.
Home-ported in Norfolk, Va., the 35,000-deadweight-ton tanker has a double hull and will primarily be engaged in transporting clean petroleum products. The vessel can carry five grades simultaneously with true double-valve segregation.
