New Zealand’s dominant position as a provider of refrigerated goods has given Maersk Logistics an opportunity to offer value-added services in the “cold chain,” as well as its wide range of other logistics services, the company said.
The New Zealand office in Auckland will be part of the global network of Maersk Logistics.
The Danish group said that it plans to expand to other parts of New Zealand.
Maersk Logistics employs over 4,300 people globally in over 200 offices in more than 70 countries.
