Maersk not collecting 40-foot reefers in Oceania

Maersk not collecting 40-foot reefers in Oceania    Maersk Line made an amendment Wednesday to a customer notice last week that it would stop collecting 20-foot reefer containers in Oceania destined to a host of destinations.
   Maersk's notice last week said it would continue to collect 40-foot reefer containers, but on Thursday the line said that 40-foot reefer containers would not be made available to shippers.
   The list of nations to which Maersk is stopping collection of 20- and 40-foot reefer containers in Oceania is: Bulgaria, Democratic Republic of Congo, Croatia, Equatorial Guinea, Georgia, Ghana, the Greek ports of Thessaloniki and Heraklion, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Latvia, Malta, Morocco, Tunisia and Yemen.
   Maersk said it will, however, continue to collect 40-foot high-cube containers in Oceania.
