Maersk said approvals for car carrier sales completed

Necessary approvals for the A.P. Moller – Maersk Group’s sale of car carriers to H'egh Autoliners have been obtained, the Danish company said.

   The company said Jan. 30 it had sold 18 car carriers to H'egh Autoliners and simultaneously became a shareholder with a 37.5 percent ownership.

   The company said Wednesday, “the agreement was subject to a number of approvals by various authorities. All approvals have now been obtained and the transaction is thus final.”
