MAERSK SEALAND ADDS INTRA-ASIA SERVICE

MAERSK SEALAND ADDS INTRA-ASIA SERVICE    Maersk Sealand has commenced a new intra-Asia service connecting Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, mainland China and Japan.
   The Intra-Asia Express service uses four vessels of about 1,500-TEU capacity. The service rotation is Jakarta, Singapore, Tanjung Pelepas, Hong Kong, Yokohama, Kobe, Osaka, Shanghai, Ningbo, Singapore and Jakarta.
   Maersk Sealand said that the new service will offer customers a wider choice and more direct service combinations, complementing the service network it offers already in the Asian regional markets.
