Maersk Sealand changes Hawaii documentation procedures
Maersk Sealand has changed its documentation procedures for Hawaii, following the opening of its own office in Honolulu at the beginning of the month.
As of Monday, all paper shipping instructions and hazardous paperwork must be either mailed or faxed to the Maersk Sealand sales office, while checks and original bills of lading can only be mailed to the same office.
These documents can no longer be delivered to Horizon Lines, Maersk Sealand’s former agent in Hawaii.
