Maersk Sealand, CP Ships end Pacific slot swaps    Maersk Sealand and CP Ships have terminated their slot exchange deal in the transpacific market.
   CP Ships carriers Lykes Lines and TMM Lines had taken slots on Maersk Sealand’s weekly TP5 and TP8 loops. In return, Maersk Sealand had taken space on the weekly Pacific Sprint Loop 3 of Canada Maritime and Lykes Lines and the weekly Pacific Sprint Loop 3, jointly operated by Lykes and Singapore-based Pacific International Lines.
   The latest “World Liner Supply” second-quarter report, to be published by ComPair Data in the next week, shows Maersk Sealand has increased its transpacific capacity 10 percent, or about 168,000 TEUs in annual one-way capacity.
